Oh blah, people can't seem to fathom spending $60 on a game? 14% slip in 9 months? Want to see my ****ing 401k?

If people want it, it doesn't matter about the economy. They will buy it. Just cause the economy blows, did people not buy iPods/iPhones? Nope.

The most expensive game I've gotten in the past... since summer I think, has been $20. The trick is to stay away from the AAA titles and go for indy titles that are generally much less.

The most i paid for a game is 139.. guitar hero world tour with the whole band set.

most expensive single game was ZELDA ocarina of time 60 just for the game.

Was well worth it!!

i dont think the iphone/itouch is a great games machine. batts not good enough and i need to feel the controls lol also the accelerometer is ok but not as great as the one in the wiimote.

but that said many people obviously like it...... well done apple again they just seem to win win win (dont mention apple tv)

my only issue is i have only ever bought macs as it was the alernitive now it looks like im in the mainstream due to pods and phones. im no longer unieque :o

Most I ever paid for a game was around $200 for the Halo 3 Legendary edition, or $180 for the Rock Band bundle (AU). I wasn't going to get RB because it took so long to come out to Australia, was gonna get GHWT, but I was impatient and thank god I was. I would probably have stuck with the mediocre GH franchise otherwise, Rock Band was my best gaming purchase, still play it daily after owning it for a year, easily put a couple of hundred hours into it, probably more.
