i just got my 24" in April when they upgraded..and now they upgraded again and its not even a year lol fml...

and there is NOTHING NOTHING i can do to exchange it. fml x 2.

im not friends with Steve right now. lol

I would try to get outside more. Upgrades happen and as long as your system still does what you ask of it, it's not a problem.

You might want to ask for a new car to replace that aging POS also. ;)

Happens, all is written about in the Intel roadmaps and many sites talk about new PC HW all the time.

Though the timing is never certain, either getting new HW early or 3-4 months later. CPUs without chipset changes can arrive early, chipsets usually late.

Since Apple has a rather narrow range of chipsets, the choices on that Intel roadmap are rather small.

I don't feel any regret in buying a top of the line early 2009 iMac. Only gripe I have at this point is that we are stuck with a two memory slot model, while the new ones have four, so to get to eight gigs of RAM it would cost us $500+.

Just because they come out with something new, does not mean you have to get it or feel like it's FML. That'll always be the case. You'd be saying the same thing 6 months from now. Pretty silly, no?
