Font creation

Does anyone know what or if there is an application out for font creation. I use to use Fontographer back in school and Macromedia never bothered continuing it.

Any suggestions....? I found an application called FontLab, http://www.font.to, not sure how good it is.

I am trying to make a handwritten font, I know of this service, http://www.fontifier.com but would rather do it myself... although for the price it might not be a bad idea to try... has any one tried fontifier?

Thanks for any suggestion. :)To the best of my knowledge, FontLab is the only font creation application available in a MacOS X-native version. Macromedia still lists Fontographer 4.1.3 (http://www.macromedia.com/software/fontographer/). I am not holding my breath until it gets ported to MacOS X. However, it does run under MacOS 9.2.2.

I too agree with MisterMe If Fontographer ever makes it to OS X I'm there!
