Can't run Combat Arms in Windows 7 or Vista.

In Windows 7 it randomly blacks out and says the program quit. It gets right past the Nexon screen almost to the login screen and just shuts off. It must be compatible by now, I'm running the RC.

Vista, it says I don't have the latest DirectX or whatever and kicks me out.

This is via VMWare Fusion.
 
have you tried it in bootcamp? some games simply won't work in virtualization.
I don't think VMWare emulates all the video driver options.
