To control the pivot point in Maya 5, you'll have to press insert (or home according to the FAQ), but my Powerbook's keyboard lacks both buttons, and there doesn't seem to be a menu entry for this function....

How can I specify another key for this action, or remap my keyboard for Maya?

I dont know Maya but on my PowerBook 17" the "Home" key is also the left arrow key.

Up Arrow is also Page Up
Down Arrow is also Page Down
Left Arrow is also Home
Right Arrow is also End

The "Insert" key is purely on Windows keyboards, there is no Mac equivalent.

Hope that helps

Holy crap! You're right!! In my 9 month ownership of this thing, I never noticed that before! I think someone snuck in and painted these on here in the middle of the night.

"Home" and "End". Wow...

just to clarify, for the arrow keys to be used as home/end/page up/page down, you need to have "fn" pressed at the same time. "fn" is at the bottom left corner of your PB's keyboard. :)
