Just saw that they released the specs for MW2

Hard Drive Space: 16 GB free hard drive space
Operating System: Windows Vista/XP
Processor: AMD 64 3200+ or Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz or better
RAM: 512 MB RAM (XP) / 1 GB RAM (VISTA)
Video Card: Shader 3.0 or better 256 MB nVidia GeForce 6600GT / ATI Radeon 1600XT or better

Does anybody think this will run on a macbook with the 9400m and 4gb ram?

Yes. The only question would be the video card, but the 9400 is a larger number than the 6600, so it is of a newer generation, and will likely do the job just fine.

I agree, you should not have a problem running the game.
Have fun! I'm getting mine on XBOX : ) But I hear the macport is awesome.

Yeah, I already preordered it for my 360, but I was thinking about getting it until I saw about no modded maps or anything , so I signed the petition and will probably get world at war instead if they don't change that.

That's pretty similar to World At War, which I can play pretty well on my MacBook Air's 9400M

Got this link from the other thread, if you guys can sign it, it was a terrible decision for them to now choose to take out dedicated servers, which also means no modded maps. For me personally, that's half the reason that I would get this game for the pc.

So would this work on a 13" 2009 MacBook Pro?

Yeah, I believe these are the same specs as world at war, which I'm currently got at high textures and I think 900 x 600 resolution running at 30+ constant fps :D, and I don't know how much this would effect it, but you have a higher processor, just make sure you have 4gb ram. Also, I advise you get world at war or wait on this one, they took out dedicated servers(which means no custom maps or content) and raised the price $10, instead sign the petition above to add these features back in, so far there is over 140,000 signatures.

It's not...people are talking about running it in Boot Camp. Aspyr will probably port it eventually, in a year or so.
