Hooking up Macbook Pro to LCD TV

I have an old Macbook Pro (2006) and would like to connect it to our Samsung LCD Tv. What adapter would I need and what cable?

if your TV has DVI input all you will need is a DVI-DVI cable. or you could use a DVI-HDMI cable. the audio needs a mini jack to RCA (http://www.ecogneato.com/images/support/stge/pabv/2/i1.jpg) (analogue) or a mini jack Toslink to Toslink (http://www.funk-tonstudiotechnik.de/Lichtleiter-Toslink-Klinke-5.jpg) (digital) cable.
