I have an ipod photo 60gb and the other day I got the unhappy hard drive symbol... It is dead.

But opportunity knocks, I would like to replace the dead hard drive for a new larger capcity one, but I have no idea which drives are compatible and the online discussions all point to the more common 20 and 40gb models (smaller physical enclosure).

So please help me.

What is the maximum capacity i can go for, where to get them etc?

Look forward to hopefully hearing from some of you soon,

Thanks

I found this link in another thread: http://www.ipodzens.com

I haven't used them before, but will be ordering a harddrive & battery for a 4th gen U2 ipod. I did lots of searching and wasn't finding much at all elsewhere by way of hard drives.
