I know no one knows for sure, but do you think the 27" iMac bodes well for a 27" LED display to be released?

I was thinking about the same thing, Sense Apple release a 27" iMac would Apple make a 27" LED for desktops the resolution is almost the same as the current 30" cinema display and would Apple replace the 30" with a 27" LED if they developed one for desktops and discontinued the 30" cinema display, or instead of dumping the current 30" inch cinema Apple may release a even larger LED display a 32" LED for the same price as the current 30" inch because let's face it you can buy a 27" inch LED iMac and use it as a display and a computer for the same price for a 30" cinema display, Apple needs to change the price on the current 30" inch or bring out a larger 32" LED and price it at $1799 there's no way people are going pay $1799 for a 30" while they can get a 27" LED iMac for the same price, I'm sure Apple will replace the 30" inch soon and I hope it will be release sometime this year or early next year

That's an impressive run on sentence. :)

I dearly hope that Apple will take the next logical step and gives us a new 27" Cinema Display as a replacement for the 24" one. I would buy for my MacBook Pro one without a blink if the price would remain the same.

This is what I think. Apple will release new 21.5in, 24in, and 27in LED Cinema Displays.

My thinking too, 30" just seems old and over priced. Would love two 27" LED's. but then......... thinking about it...... auuuuuuuuuuu sorry had to drool a bit... would love two 32" LED displays. to go with a nice 12 core mac pro (am jumping the mark on that one.) assuming if the six core is replacing the quad core in order to separate the status of the imac and mac pro. Then the 8 core would logically be replaced by two 6 core processors.

This. Possibly another larger one, but who knows?

More interesting is whether or not 's moving completely to 16:9 displays as opposed to 16:10.

I know some people will bitterly complain about how 16:10 is superior and they don't want to give up 120 pixels of vertical resolution, but meh. I'd rather just have higher pixel densities and higher resolutions in general.

We shall see.

I think they will add a 27" to the current 24". The 30" will stay (maybe upgraded somehow)for MP users.

I'm pretty sure they will. Apple is very consistent with their product line.
