K kimguroo macrumors member Oct 24, 2009 #4 I upgraded my 2g to 3gs a few days ago. went to AT&T Store and activated the new phone with new sim. when I get home, I backed up old iphone then sync new iphone. that's it. every data was there. enjoy new one😀
