Mini with tv & display

I'm thinking about purchasing a new mini soon. I'll be using it with my 23" HP monitor. However, that monitor can get kind of small for movie watching so down the road I'd like to eventually purchase a larger television (maybe in the 40"-47" range). Yet, I'd still like to use my monitor for regular computing. Now i know that the mini is fully capable of driving two monitors, but is it usable driving both a monitor and a larger television like that, or would it choke? I've tried looking for people who have this setup, not just a TV or 2 regular monitors, and can't seem to find much recent info, especially about the newer minis just released.

I'm still really new to the whole htpc thing so any help would be appreciated :rolleyes:

It should work fine. The TV can either be mirrored or used as an extended desktop - just like a display. I use my MBP that way often (of course, with the built-in as one of the two).

Awesome, thanks for your quick reply :) I think using it as an extended would make most sense. I probably wouldn't try to use them together very often, but I'm glad to know it can be done.
