Iphone all audio not working including mic

Hello, last night my iphone started acting wierd, no sound is working at all, the speaker is not working, and when i call someone when i hit the "loudspeaker" button, it does not stay lit...? Its very wierd and when i put the phone up to my ear, its supposed to go black, well it doesn't... And my battery life is horrible??? after 4 hours of leaving the phone left asleep, it went to less than half battery life. i opened up itunes, and restored my phone and installed the newest firmware, no luck? I don't know what to do... also it doesnt say the headphones are plugged in or anything

Have you left the silent switch on by accident? If not, then it sounds like the speaker's broken...

My Ipod sound isnt working at the moment either !!!! it just stopped suddenly........... any possible solutions welcome i.e. setting ive changed etc by accident.
