View Full Version : Swapping Out Time Capsules....

I just bought the 2TB TC about a month ago. Now that the improved TC is about to be released I'm going to swap out the current one for the newer one.

My question is do I have to do anything before I swap them out? Probably just a clean swipe of the data on the current TC, but anything else? How do I erase everything on the current time capsule?

Any advice will help. Thanks!

The latest TC is available so its been released already. As far as your old TC, you could simply delete the bundle and you should be good. Are you planning on selling the old TC or exchange it out with the new one from Apple. I would assume deleting and formatting the drive should be sufficient.
