Ahahaha omfg youre so gullible. Some random company wont find an unlock before the dev team.
EDIT: PLUS, if it were "released" today how would ANYONE have tried it yet?

They claim millions of satisfied customers and have an unlock for 3.12. I don't know why they'd lie- and if they did, how would they get away with it? They have PayPal. I can just open a dispute, say they're a liar and get my money back.

If there was an unlock for the 5.11.xx baseband it would be WORLDWIDE news as there are literally thousands of phone owners who want to unlock their phones.
It would be all over every iPhone site on the web.

Also, they say they include free games and wallpapers? Well... That's either pirated material or it's stuff that's already free.

If the Dev team where to charge for the unlocks, the unlocks would be available. Have you guys noticed that the Dev Team only release an unlock after each major update, but somehow they are never able to unlock the phones after subsequent updates?
I am in no way affiliated with the advertisement here, but I somehow wish for a "paid" product to come out with this type of unlock, as it's the only way that guarantees support.
Lately the Dev team is supporting pretty much very little and they have been second to geohot. After Geo releases something, then they release.
I can surely understand, why the fuzz and development over something they will only get donations out of and not get what they really should get for the type of development? I wish they would have a paid solution that cannot be copied over, so they can keep support of subsequent versions alive and ready.
As of now, I have a windows PC, I can only use blackra1n, because they REFUSE to do a windows version of pwnage tool. Free options get limited way fast.

the reason there is no unlock for 3.1 or 3.1.2 is because apple changed the baseband with 3.1 and the dev team cannot find an exploit for the baseband.
as for refusing to make a windows app..... they all have macs so they code with macs not pcs so how do u expect them to release a app to jailbreak on windows when they are using macs? I believe the reason theres no redsn0w for 3.1/.2 is because the exploit they were using was fixed by apple..... I thnk
and besides to complain about something you get for free is to be seen as ungrateful for having the unlock..... they didn't have to release anything or look into the iPhone and unlocking it 😉

Here, here! Impatience and ungratefulness are too common in regards to jailbreaking/unlocking, especially when they're provided for free.

He wasn't complaining about the quality of the free software. He said he'd like to BUY the software. He actually brings up a good point about commercial software.
The thing is, the Dev Team is very capable of programming code for windows. If their software was not free they'd be able to dedicate more time to it and offer continued support. It's great what they are doing for donations from the community but I'm sure anyone can see the difference here. In most cases support is a commercial product.
