I just finished restoring from a time machine backup and have to login. The problem is my wireless Apple keyboard isn't working when I am at the login screen.

...yeah, doesn't the apple documentation state you have to set it up first with a wired keyboard...

I found out exactly how to do that today. Just keep holding down the power button on the apple keyboard while its searching for a keyboard when you first boot your computer brand new. 🙂 You'll see the green light on the keyboard light up and stay lit as long as you keep pressing the power button and it should detect it.
