Hello all.
I am attempting to install 10.5 Server on an older Xserve (G5) from a G4 Mac Mini running 10.5. The Xserve has a DVD drive, but no monitor so I am using the Server Assistant to install and setup the server.
After installing I attempt to set up a "Standard Server" with a single user account.
At the "Setting Up" screen the infinite progress bar gets to nearly done and then just stops. The bullet point showing at the server is: "Setting up configuration for standard server".
The blue lights on the front flicker from time-to-time, but everything ultimately just sits there.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing the setup procedure to stop at this point?
