Eventually new ideas will be slim for iPhone apps, but I thought this possible trend is interesting.
Take an older app such as Imaginary Pet Horse and simply rename it, iUnicorn.
I've seen other examples, but this one is funny as there are no unicorns contained within the second app whatsoever.
Edited to add:
I just noticed they appear to be two different developers so the second pretty much ripped-off the first.

Download Manager by VTechnology vs Download Manager Pro by DYSoftware
It's the same developer. If you read the description on the Pro app, it clearly states an update of their Download Manager app was rejected 3 times, so they submitted the Pro as a new app. Under a different developer name is beyond me.

Actually, I think the first app scam was Touch Scan Pro as explained in this article:
