Successfully created a bootable disk image of Command and Conquer?

Has anyone successfully created a bootable image of Command and Conquer: Zero Hour? I know it's from 2005, but I still love it!

I'm sick of having to carry the CD around with my MBP, but whenever I've made a disk image, the game knows it's not the real CD.

Is there any way you can think of that I might be able to make a bootable image?

when you say bootable, i think your confusing that with mountable.

if copying the CD to a disk image wouldn't work, i can't think of anything else.
