Hi folks,
I have a client who wants me to compile a DVD of their videos (.mov format) from their digital camera. I'm wondering if there's any way for me to tell when the original video was shot? i know most cameras stamp the metadata with the time pictures were snapped, but I can't see to do this with her video. She sent me 1 as a sample and saved it to my machine then imported it into imovie and final cut, but b/c i just saved it today, any 'created' or otherwise date, shows as today?
Any ideas? I'm thinking it's a setting on her camera to stamp the files for future files and we're out of luck for previously shot clips?
btw, we want to organize her clips by month/year and even though she had a solid start on the organization, i could rename/import her files based on date (which would be easier).
Cheers,
Keebler
