I am in transit, just been looking at noise cancellation headphones in the airport shop and it occurred to me, as I am sitting on the plane watching movies on my laptop (macbook pro 2.53) surely there must be software I can get to do this with my existing, altec lansing headphones (the big ear covering kind, not the in ear kind)
I realise it's not going to be perfect because the mic is not on the headphones but I can't seem to find anything with a Google search.
