switching trash/finder icons

I want to switch the icon for the trashcan and finder, I already have the two pics I want to use for the trash and the one I want for the finder, but I don't know where to go to switch out the pic, I'm used to doing it the old os9 way :cool: . I know about candybar, I would rather do it manually. So, where can I find these two icons?

Edit: maybe - one of the links is out of date, and it sort of assumes you boot into OS 9.

Okay this is how you do it.

now click candybar. and just drag the pic to each one. super simple.
