How to re-install Cydia without restore?

Not sure what happened, but no matter what I do Nothing appears in Sections, nothing appears in Changed, nothing appears in Sources or Packages, and nothing appears when I search for something.

I've got Icy, so do I just need to remove and then install the Cydia Installer through Icy? Could there be any problems with that, like loosing all my installed sources (even though they're not appearing in Cydia...).

Edit: It would seem my friend also has this problem. Is anyone else? Possibly the Cydia repo has gone caputski. Could a mod please change thread title to something like "Cydia down"? Thanks.

Use icy to remove cydia... Then never go near cydia again. Use rock! Or icyhttp://macblog.***********/imgs/signature_SmileyFace.jpg but if u really need cydia then reinstall through icy

ive heard of these probs when you have both icy and cydia installed. i would just go with cydia. icy is wackkk
