Shipping delay...

My BTO 12" PB is delayed in shipping. I ordered it on the 19th and they said it would be shipped by the 23rd. Now they say by the 29th. I need it sooner..b/c it's for a gift for someones birthday. Do they sometimes offer free upgrades in shipping? Should I complain and ask them for one?

Nope not a chance, Apple offer shipping estimates. It's quite common for them to slip back, they won't offer a free upgrade. Though you can always pay for it yourself.

i ordered a 12" pb with an upgraded hard drive on the 16th. estimated shipping was the 22nd, but its been pushed back to the 28th. so, i guess there's some sort of supply shortage all around and it's not that they don't like you or anything like that.
