Is it worth it to return the old one and get me a new model ?

Probably not. In the absence of any helpful information (model, time frame, opened/unopened) you won't get a better response than that.

I believe you can do it within 14 days of purchase, after that you're stuck with what you got.

If you are within the time limit, why wouldn't you? How much trouble is it? And then your are another 6 months from being obsolete.

If you've opened it don't forget there's a restocking fee, amount shown on your receipt.

Rule #1 of buying a new Mac: Do NOT look at anything related to Mac rumors, prices, or model announcements for at minimum 3 months after your purchase, preferably 6.

That's pretty much the only way to prevent buyer's remorse, and a good way to maintain your sanity.
