WOAH! Wait a minute! Are you guys saying that you can connect to an iPhone over a WLAN network?!!??
Can this be done over provider's APN? If so what is to stop you from doing this on MY iPhone? Doesn't this provide some serious insecurity issues?
Now I'm worried!

You can toggle SSH access with SBSettings.

PhoneView via USB, but now that I upgraded to SL I'll have to find an alternative to my PPC version of Transmit 2.

Do it all the time over WLAN.
Can't be done easily over carriers APN. When I say can't be done easily, I mean its actually practically impossible without access to the infrastructure

HAHAHA, took long enough for someone to catch that huh? ;)

They meant if you don't have wifi you can use diskaid over USB.
Also, you're not actually using SSH. It's SFTP. SSH generally gives a command prompt. :D
Terminal is the best for SSH to the iPhone. If you want file access, just get netatalk in cydia. You'll see your iphone come up as a shared computer on your network. Browsing is as easy as accessing any other folder on your computer.
If you really want SFTP access, I'd recommend Fetch.

hahaha, your telling me. I kept checking back and nothing.
DiskAid is convenient but it crashes all the time. Cyberduck is probably the best bet.
