My iPhone is jailbroken (Pwnage) on 3.1.2

I enabled tethering on my phone using the URL:

http://appleguru.org/iPhoneTethering.html

Everything appeared to go through smoothly. In the end I was able to enable Tethering. My Mackbook Pro picked it up on OSX, but it showing the iPhone as disconnected. I go back to General/Network and Tethering toggle is missing now!

Tried to reperform the steps above, no success.

Add sinfuliphonerepo.com to your sources in cydia and add their tethering carrier file.

Thanks Rod. I added their carrier file, still nothing :(

It works fine for me. I'm on a 3GS, so that might make a difference, I'm not sure. Hopefully allaw's link will work for you.

Remove the profile, reset network settings...reboot. install profile. Voila!
