Is this allowed, a user's signature made me think of this?

As my four year old son would say, "Don't be a buzzkill!" (I taught him to say it to mommy) :D
I actually thought it was pretty clever of the guy to put it in his signature. I don't see how it's any different from people pointing to their own websites or something else. Now if we start to see random or fruitless posting just for the purpose of advertising his signature, then that would be a problem.
Relax, shouldn't you be studying or something anyway... :p

It bothers me too, because I see it as spam, but hey, I guess its not against forum rules, so its ok to do.

That's what's unclear. It would seem it would be against the rules, just as it is against the rules to put giveaways in your signature. (I know that from experience)
While I personally think it would be against the rules, I also think that promoting for sale items in your signature would seem against the rules, but I suppose we shall see.
and mscriv, shouldn't you be trying to figure out a legitimate trade for Peyton Manning or something? <smiley>

QFT.
How about letting the mods do the modding and you stick to trying to be the first post in every thread.
If you think a post violates the rules, report it.

Sorry, and yes you can call me a "noob" but I don't know what QFT is an acronym for and I'm unclear as to whether your frustration is pointed at me or someone else.

Meh. The frustration mocking was directed at me.

If the mods were smart they would figure out how to delay my spy by maybe three minutes to allow others a chance,[/sarcasm] there is just nothing else that could keep me sane in the library.

If it really annoys you just disable signatures. I don't see it as a problem.(Says the guy who's entire signature is links)

It doesn't annoy me. I would do this if it's allowed, but I prefer not to violate the rules given prior experience.

Currently we're not allowing Lockerz invites in signatures. If you see any, feel free to report it and we'll take a look.
