Endless Rebooting when iphone goes to standy mode

My iPhone 2g keeps rebooting endlessly whenever it goes to standby mode. Is there any way to fix this problem? Currently I have automatic standby mode settings to Never but its draining my battries...

I arleady tried updating and changing the firmware... And also, I can't access DFU mode...
