I have installed Windows 7 64bit Ultimate on a dedicated drive on my 2008 Mac Pro and have ran into a slight issue. What is happening is sometimes when I remove my USB thumb drive after "ejecting" it, Windows 7 will totally freeze at that point. My mouse cursor locks up, but I can still CTRL>ALT>Delete and shut down that way. It does NOT BSOD and the USB thumb drives read/write just fine while they are connected. Only upon removal does it crash the OS.

I have only tried 2 different ones, but don't know why this is cropping up. Some have said they are having trouble with other types of USB devices like external HD but I have not tried myself. Anyone have any thoughts on this or seen this too?
