I found this site, I didn't think it was real- but i found out some info about it, and well, altho it has caused a stir, it seems to be legit..

BASICLY you sign up, complete 1 offer ,could be as simple as signing up with ebay for free and bidding on 1 thing(ex. a car for 1 penny) or signing up with ancestry .com and canceling an hour later (cost nothing) but a credit card is required for that offer.
Then you get 5 friends to complete one offer each, then you give them your shipping info and you get your free ipod, its as simple as that..
and the cool part- IT WORKS
How it works...
Gratis Networks picks up a decent referral fee for every one that’s completed, and since it’s a lot harder than it sounds to also get five of your friends to sign up for AOL (for example), they only have to ship out free iPods to a relatively small percentage of people, while simply pocketing the cash for anyone who is able to only get four people or fewer to sign up (the company rep admitted that they lose money whenever someone gets five people to complete orders, since it means they have to ship out an iPod).
Proof it works..
