Hello everyone

I am looking to buy a new printer for $150 or less.
I don't really mind if its a photo or an inkjet (don't want an A-I-O)

Some of the models I'm looking at are...
HP Deskjet 5650- $100
HP Deskjet 5850- $150 (Wireless)
Refurb HP Deskjet 7550 - $99 (good deal)
Canon i560- $80 (22ppmBLK, 15ppm Color)
Epson R200- 100 (Prints on CDs/DVDs)

There are too many printers to choose from. I bought my last printer- a refurbished HP PhotoSmart 1115 printer for $39!! from compusa. I couldn't resist

Thanks

I did a lot of looking at this and I decided on the i560.

The i960 is a better printer, but from what I could figure out, for most poeple it's not $100 better. I was able to get the i560 for $64 at bestbuy after rebate. At $64 it's almost a disposable printer.

The Canon are said to print better and be cheaper to run.

Between the i960 and the i560 I figured I'd save $100 on the printer and use it on a better digital camera. After all, you can print a photo in the future, but you can only take it once.

Good luck....

All of the Canons seem to give really good quality photos. Text will be fine on any printer. The nice thing about the Canons is that they have seperate ink cartridges for each color. I have an i850 and my mom has an 860--both are great and under $150.

i have had the 5850 for about a month and it is great, good for photos and regular everyday printing. also the wireless capability is awesome, only one wire, for power!
