Anyone know if someone is planning on making a case for the mouse? or have any of you found something that works well as one? I'd feel better about throwing the mouse in my bag 'o stuff if it had a case on it, surprised apple didn't include one.... I can't be alone on this, right?

I also have been looking for the same. With something that can get scratched so easily it would be great to have a case when carrying it with my laptop. I have not heard or seen any as of yet though.

What about a sunglass bag or the box it came in?

I just tried my iPhone case for my mouse and it works very well.

It's this case here: http://www.caselogic.com/pockets_trade_mdash_large/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=78909

Just put the mouse in a small little bag by itself on your bag. No need for cases.

Similar to Studio's reply I put both the AC adapter and my current Mighty Mouse in a ziplock bag (sandwich size fits both easily) when I put it in my backpack. Mainly because for some reason when I put them in my backpack and no protection they got scuffed with some kind of black marks. It cleaned off with windex but the ziploc bag avoids the issue altogether.

I keep mine in an extra Oakley bag when I put it in my backpack. Works great because you can also use it to wipe off any oil or dirt from the top shell.

I actually keep mine in the original plastic case - it doesnt move around too much and its snugly into a pocket of my laptop bag so that case doesn't open and close as I walk.

I keep mine in the box it came with. Looks good, safe, and good size. It's also a way of taking care of the box if you're planning on selling the mouse later on or so.

I purchased at Staples a perfect case for the Magic Mouse.
It's very low profile, hard shell case and has a flap on either side of the mouse when the case is open to prevent the mouse from accidentally falling out when the case is open.

Only cost $15.

It's the Volta 20 by Lowepro.
