Used tape in SIM tray, now it won't come out!

I think you may need a time machine to go back before you put tape on the sim card. That sucker is probably stuck as hell in there now. I'd just keep pressing a paperclip into the hole and hope you get it open enough to rip the card out.

Note that in digital situations the amount of contact something has with another does NOT increase signal strength. Get off your analogue televisions, the switch to digital was months ago.

Just pop the digitizer/lcd off and remove the sim tray manually.
You can remove the 2 screws at the bottom, then pull the digitizer up with a suction cup (do not pry it up with a screw driver, it isn't needed and will damage it) Then simply push the sim tray out from the top.
Just be careful not to rip any ribbon cables, you'd have to be pretty destructive to break them tho, try not to pull the digitizer off too fast.
