I am wondering about the mini-dvi to svideo/rca adapter
with a 12" powerbook with the 64mb nvidia graphics chip how big of a TV could you connect it to without loosing a lot of image quality?

any size tv, but you image quality will be poor.
however using a dvi connection to a tv that supports computer input display is a little different story.

yea well i know that it will loose quality- but like on a 27" tv
i have a nice 46" sony widescreen projection tv with a DVI input- (i think its for an HD tuner though)

the difference between running a 27" t.v. and a 13" t.v. is like using 13" monitor or a 21" monitor both set at a resolution of 800x600.
You won't have a problem.
NOTE: a typical tv resolution (not hdtv) has a screen resolution around 640x480

NTSC is based on a 525-line, 60 fields/30 frames-per-second, at 60Hz system for transmission and display of video images. This is an interlaced system in which each frame is scanned in two fields of 262 lines, which is then combined to display a frame of video with 525 scan lines. NTSC is the official analog video standard in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, some parts of Central and South America, Japan, Taiwan, and Korea.
if you wanting to play games on your tv your out of luck put it that way.
