has anyone figured out whats the point of upgrading my armor´s "targeting"? I mean, it is me who does the targeting, isnt it? Also, whats the point of the cloaking upgrade? I get cloaked when I pick up the cloaking power up, and the length of that is determined by my "powerup" level... So whats the point?

- Plasma Gun & Auto Rifle are the best for close distance attacks.
- Gravity Hook is great to get items and credits remaining in the zone.
- Rocket & Antimatter are good for snipping long distance attacks.
- Vaporizer is just a useless lazer gun that cause less damage.

I wish they would let you trade in gear if you dont like it, for less credit.

Anyone notice the time to recharge is really 241:41 minutes rather than 240:00?

Also, they are not consecutive, you have to log in sometime after the 4 hours to get the next charge cycle going.

As for my stats, I am going for the Assault suit and maxing about the Plasma Cannon, with is about as good as a shotgun in a typical FPS.

yeah the shotgun is the best gun..im gonna upgrade it..rocket launcher is pretty useless IMO..the game goes too quick for you to switch back and forth constantly..i just hate how you have to wait 4 hours in between plays..and i refuse to give them any business because of their schemey tactics

Okay, I know what you are saying, but at the same time, I don't think you know what you are saying.

You can actually play as much as you want, without waiting 4 hours between charges.

Your "kills", "skills", and game wins all get logged and accounted for in your Plus+ leaderboard regardless if you have energy or not.

What you are complaining is that you have to wait 4 hours to gain credits to upgrade and buy new items.

I know you knew that already, and if not, now you know and knowing is half the battle.:)

Ngmoco didn't take that idea from any feedback. They chose to put it at a 1 hour charge because of Modern Warfare 2:

Employees! We are offering 4X energy recharge rate for a limited time to make it easier for you to clock in between MW2 deployments. Enjoy!

But yesterday, according to this tweet:

Get back to work employees! Increased productivity is a good thing. The 4x faster recharge rate will remain in effect until further notice.

The 1 hour fast recharge stays for now until they say it's over.

In response to your questions, it's hard to say what the best upgrades are. I've tried to stick with the Plasma Cannon alone, and just focused my credits on upgrading this as much as possible.
I have done the same thing with my armor, sticking with the basic setup up, but upgrading it almost to the max now. I have seen people really play well with an upgraded Auto Rifle, which seems cool but my investment in the Plasma Cannon is too large to stop at this point.

If anyone knows of a forum or article with more detailed information for various armors, weapons, tips, etc. I would be interested.

I personally use Tanker + Gravity Hook for speed.

With Tanker, i can still survive after getting hit by 3 rockets.

Hey Echo...I'm currently using Plasma as well, and now I have the hook as my side gun. Not great with it, but it's fun to use it to get to certain corners, etc.
I saw someone kick some ass with the vaporizer (amazing).
Seems like almost all the guns can be good with enough upgrading.
I'm still rocking standard armor (but it's just 3 steps short of being maxed out.

I saw that after reaching level 30, pretty much everyone are using the vaporizer. One lazer hit and your dead instead of 3 rockets to kill you.

The diamond polish is too flashy and all your opponents will target at you first instead of someone in dark.

I saw on twitter that they made the sniper and sentry armor better. Apparently, they said that if you stand still, you go in to cloaking mode, but if you move, it's not as good.

I am trying to max out the sentry armor, but am only level 15 so I have a ways to go. I also use the autocanon pretty well. Anyone else use a similar combo?

O Noz!!! The event is over... But it's 90 min charge??? I thout it was 4 hour charge. Did they permenately reduce charge time?? I'm crossing my fingers to keep it at 90

It's since moved up to 120 minutes now. Interesting that they make an announcement about the 60 minute recharge rate, but do not make any sort of news about the 90 and 120 minute recharge rates.

So do you think we will see a 150 minute recharge, or even a 180 one.

Maybe they are optimizing the recharge time and testing the activity rates as they adjust it.

I have cloaking on my sniper armor and it is amazing, you appear invisible according to how much you maxed it, it might make a good combo with vaporizer though.

Nah IMO ur lvl 10... Get the infiltrator first i LOVE it!!! U move so fast and I own ass with it. Shotgun with infil is best combo... Just a IMO

I got to 4100 skill and I'm only lvl 18 I hit 3000 at around lvl 12 . I think the gear brought me very far. Oh and shotguns r awesome if u like run n gun dich.. If u want to snipe... Do it at lvl25 when u hav upgraed vaporizer and sniper. Btw is sentry and sniper suppose to be betr? I've seen people own with sentry...

Sniper is the best! I am working on maxing blaster and unsure what other gun, I saw some dude own with desinageator and vaporizor! HELP!

In the same vien, if you have access to a second (or more) iPhone/Touch, couldn't you just like...play yourself? How fast would you lose skill points? But at least you could level fast, right?

yah ive had that prob too, but i just took it up and went on...

i fought people 20 lvls higher than me... but look at my rank in ghs

im in the top 25. If i was you, dont go down, if you stay low ghs you'll always be... Cuz lvl adjustments are applied too.

so i say to you, kick some more @$$ and don't go down...

if you really do...

well you could on purposely lose with a friend, get a friend to make a new account with low ghs compared to yours and keep on getting your friend to kill you. Your ghs will drop dramatically.

I've been on a hot streak (33, 5000), and the antimatter gun is like an extension of my body. Last night I took on a lvl76 (5500), destroyed the poor guy.

The game this followed from was one where I got smashed by two lvl 65's. So it was a good way to end the day.

Guys and girls gather round.. imma a lvl 36 and my skill lvl is already 7800. i can usually place 1st or 2nd in a round and at my skill lvl i constantly play people that are 20-30 lvls higher than me (i once beat a 94) a.k.a. im pretty good at this game. What do u guys think about the new update. I dont like it very much.. co-op is fantastic but the new matchmaking system blows... Reason being, Im lvl 36 but my skill lvl (was 7850) is now 7400! My skill lvl has never gone up since the update because im playing people who are my lvl hence they have skill lvls of like 3000 or 4000. Its so frustrating! I was playing Eliminate pro this morning and my ipod battery died on my. i fully charged it and for some reason it will not connect to the eliminate server so that I can play some more. I have a 3g ipod touch 32gb. I am using the same network that I was this morning. Does anyone have any ideas? Has anyone else had this problem? I was thinking that maby the eliminate server was down. Any help would be helpful.

- Plasma Gun & Auto Rifle are the best for close distance attacks.
- Gravity Hook is great to get items and credits remaining in the zone.
- Rocket & Antimatter are good for snipping long distance attacks.
- Vaporizer is just a useless lazer gun that cause less damage.

What is wrong with you? You think the vaporizer is stupid and that antimatter is a snipping weapon? MESSED UP BUDDY you know ho SLOW the antimater and the rocket laucher is. Besides Vaporizer is in fact the second best and most popular after the Mag-Rail PRO because Mag rail PRO is for rank 55 and over making it the most supirior weapon of all times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So im a level 33 and have a skill at around 3000, um i havent played deathmatch so my skill should have been higher becuase i have been playing co-op alot :). I use most of the time vaporizer, I do have a rocket launcher dual cannon jr. and hurricane. I think i kill poeple way easy with vaporizer becuase i can aim the weapon at poeples head. Add me anyone I want to play against you:) My name on the elminate pro is Burningred807. I have a sentry armor also. I dont always get first probaly cuase i rarely upgrade my sentry. Post any tip for me:)

I fixed my last problem. I playing the eliminate pro version of eliminate. In the section where I buy weapons and it does not show the hurricane gun or whatever it is called. I have access of everything else like the vaporizer and the rocket launcher and all of the guns below that. Do I need to get a different version of the game so that I can use that weapon?

He got bored when he got to the cap of 50. So he intentionally burned his skill down. I do that when I get bored, which happens a lot in this lag filled game on my 3G.
