Right away the title dispels one annoying myth:

It's not Automater, it's Automator :)

Well, atleast for me, it will hopefully replace my applescripting. Applescript is just way too annoying, (very verbose syntax, error messages that don't make sense, little or bad documentation).
If Automator really is that great, I think it will replace applescript for allot of people. Even more people who didn't consider applescript, will start automating their work.
