That is a quote from Details Magazine and that is so true. And you'd never know it if you hadn't heard them since 97 from Mmmbop!
They are absolutely amazing LIVE!! HANSON on currently on tour now! They are touring in their hometown, TULSA, OKLAHOMA at Cains Ballroom August 7 and 8 both nights filled with ROCK N' ROLL!! Opening acts are Michael Tolcher and Ingram Hill!
August 7th is a sold out show, but they're having another night August 8th.
You can purchase tickets at startickets.com. If you are not in the Tulsa area, Hanson are touring many cities, check out Hanson.net

Hanson blew it by being such a young band from the start. They will never be taken seriously by the music-listening public as a whole. I'm sorry, but the name Hanson just invokes a certain feeling, and the feeling does not jive with their new rock'n'roll image. If they wanted to rock, they would've had to give it a little more time and not use the name Hanson.

EDIT: also, that picture of them looks too serious too. what do they have to be serious about, they're like 19 years old? For real, they're trying to hard to change their look, and it seems contrived.

OK, checked out Hanson.net. They sound like another crappy "power ballad" band. Steeped in mediocrity (so they take in all the subtle flavour of nothing), 7 years seems to have done nothing for them. The only novel thing is, the little guy's voice seems to still be yet to break.

Rock? More rock comes out of my f**kin ass.

Walked by The Quest this morning on the way to work. There were about 3 dozen girls waiting to get tickets/entry for tonight, some having slept in what is not the safest area of Minneapolis. When I got to work I looked up the schedule to see who they were waiting for. It was Hanson, I couldn't believe it. I think they're all still out there, and will be out there when I leave work this afternoon.

YEP!!! You wouldnt believe what a strong fan base they have!!! I believe there are 22,052 registered members in their fan club! And not all fans have their memberships in hanson.net. Tulsa, Oklahoma is VERY proud of the guys!
AND THEY ARE 23, 21, 18!! Apparently someone takes their music seriously or Tulsa wouldn't have sold out the first show and the venue added another night.

Also Hanson’s third studio album, Underneath released on their own, self-funded 3CG Records debuting at #1 on Billboard’s independent sales chart and #25 on Billboard's Top 200 , making it one of the most successful self-released albums of all time

Hmm, someone must take their music pretty seriously.

Isaac is 23, Taylor 21 is happily married to a beautiful girl (a fan) and a little boy, (he's got a lot to be serious about) lol Zac 18. These guys are so much more mature than most their age! A whole lot of 40 years olds are more immature than they are.
It's also very immature to be so close minded because someone is so young when they start in the music business. LOL And Hanson happens to be their last name. But, I'm telling you, you hear them live and they ROCK, big time!!

I always thought hanson were odd, but when band members start marriages with little boys, thats michael jackson level craziness.
