I'm looking to purchase an external enclosure for a 500gb drive that will be made into my primary storage drive for my hacked Apple TV. It's a 3.5 SATA drive. Does anyone have any suggestions? I guess the important things would be:
Low noise
Low light (some of those power lights can be obnoxious)
Power saving spin down (i wasn't sure if all enclosures support this or not)
I've looked on Newegg but there are a myriad of possibilities and it would certainly be easier to narrow down with a little help. Thanks.
