Do you think it would be theoreticaly possible to put a G5 chip on an existing motherboard? Would motherboard architechture support it? If not and if G5+ are remotely true then buying a power mac before G5 is a very bad idea:(

Looks like three bulls-eyes there... I would like to add a NFW to that though.. :D

BTW, don't let what MIGHT come out dictate what you purchase and when. If you feel a need to get the Mac, get one. Don't wait until the next generation processor MIGHT come out. We have all heard the numerous G5 rumors, but none have come true.

Don't wait any longer then when 10.2 ships, since there are rumors of new enclosures coming out at that time. Another maybe. :rolleyes: :p :D :cool:
