Kubuntu 9.10 internet won't connect to any password protected network?

As above it won't connect and I can't get into my network, it works when there is no password. It started when the update for 9.10 came

this is for my friend by the way, I am a mac user 😉
 
First - you only need one thread.

Second - are you sure you have all the right drivers?
