So I want to play Modern Warfare 2 on my nice 55" LCD TV through VGA, but I can't get it to work.
In Snow Leopard, it'll work perfectly (1920x1080, 60Hz, etc), but in Windows 7 running the latest Nvidia ForceWare drivers, it only goes up to 640x480 (only resolution choice) and is labeled 'UDI'. The same thing happens in Ubuntu.
THIS IS DRIVING ME INSANE. WHY WON'T THIS CRAP WORK? APPLE AND YOUR RETARDED DISPLAY PORT JUNK.
UPDATE: Plugged it into my 32" 720p LCD. Went to its max resolution of 1360x768 just fine. Not sure why it doesn't want to work properly when it's connected to the 55" in Wndows 7 or Ubuntu, but works in OS X...
