DVD Player

I watch a lot of dvd's on my desktop (G5), i now nearly all my DVD's on it insted of my TV. I have an iBook and i will be travling a lot doing work and stuff. I rent a lot of DVD's and since i will be travling they wilol be from diffrent reigons, i could only change teh setting in DVD Player 5 times, is there a way so that i am not limited?

there are probably a number of hacks that would allow this, as well as a few programs other than the standard DVD player that would allow this. you might also be able to use multiple copies of the same program set to different regions (depending on how preferences are handled), or even multiple programs each set to different regions.

Also try this site (http://www.wormintheapple.gr/macdvd/). However, they might not have any G5 patches because the site hasn't been updated in a while.
