AluMacBook not sleeping in Snow Leopard?

Hey everyone

I just heading out the door this morning, so I closed my MacBook and got my shoes. I came back and noticed the apple logo was still glowing. After opening it, I found that it hadn't gone to sleep at all. This is worrisome because I woke up and, when I opened it this morning, it wasn't sleeping then either.

Is this a problem with 10.6.2 or is there something in the system preferences that needs changing?

I installed 10.6.2 two days ago and I have not run into this problem. I think you might be right. It might be a sys preferences thing. I even tested to see if I just hadn't noticed it doing that last night and my computer went right to sleep after closing the top.
