Will there be a 21.5 imac Quad core with i7?

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about the possibility of a 21.5" imac that can be built to spec with the 27" quad core i7?

No this will not happen the 27inch has better cooling as more space inside enclosure.

If the i7 was put inside the 21inch Imac the unit would overheat

I'm glad you asked! I have the same exact question --I'm willing to wait 2 1/4 years cause I'm very happy with my MBP.
