I've researched dead pixels and stuck pixels, trying to figure out what was up with a few little white parts of my screen on my MBPro.

They aren't in a uniform pattern, and they have a random, linear-type shape that makes them almost look like scratches, but the screen itself is smooth. Rather, they appear to be behind the image on the screen. A white window will make them more noticeable, whereas something black will make them disappear.

From what I could find, I don't think they really fit the descriptions of dead pixels or stuck pixels, but I'm honestly hoping they are.

What I fear is that somehow I caused them. They really aren't too noticeable, and I honestly only see them when I search for them. I'm just afraid that this might somehow void my AppleCare, so I've been avoiding taking it in, despite my increasing worry over my poor baby.

Don't know if it's needed, but here's my system profiler:

Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro4,1
