Snow leopard hangs quite frequently for me so I thought I'd go through the logs.

Here's what they say-

I searched all over the net but no-one seems to have come across this, or they just haven't posted it online!

Any ideas on whats going on and how I can solve the problem of my computer frequently freezing and beach-balling?

I came across this old thread (http://forums.macosxhints.com/showthread.php?t=21623), which has similar logs. If you go to post 23 the person claims their problem was tracked to Norton Antivirus. And then post 30 has a solution for that person. Here's a Mac Rumor's thread (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=278715) that may be related as well. Another thread to peruse. (http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/os-x-operating-system/171610-snow-lepoard-running-crazy-slow.html)

I found these by searching for "kCGErrorIllegalArgument"

The 1st two threads didnt help, I went through them earlier by searching for "kCGErrorIllegalArgument" but no-one seems to have posted anything regarding "CGSSetWindowTransformAtPlacement: Failed" anywhere online.

I shall try some of the things mentioned in the third thread like un-installing ntfs paragon!

Thanks for the help!

I have a friend experiencing these same errors. Would love to know how to troubleshoot them.

com.apple.Dock.agent[19026] .... <Error>: kCGErrorIllegalArgument: CGSSetWindowTransformsAtPlacement: Failed

It's Chrome & FireFox. Looks like no fix still, at least for Chrome. Spent half of my day looking into this. It comes every time I switch into Chrome and leave when the status text at the bottom isn't showing. When it's showing (i.e. you hover your mouse over a hyperlink), no errors. Does this actually affect productivity though? Doesn't seem to.
