The status on Apple's official website finally changed. Most people that ordered should be receiving them some time next week. Hopefully Apple retail stores will also be getting them in by next week. Wanna check out the performances between the C2D and the i5 processors.

Nice, the Swiss Store still states:
"Versandfertig in: November" which means "ships: November" 🙁

They must have eliminated most of the backlog in the US (well, except 7-10 business days worth). Excellent!

Ditto for the Australian Apple Store: Estimated Ship: 7-10 business days.

Hope that my iMac Quad Core order status changes from 'November' real soon!

A day later, and the Swiss Apple is still showing "ships: November" 😕

STILL says November on my order, but when you configure a new one with the same stuff I ordered, it says 7-10 days. 😕😡

same here lol. I think we should get it either before or within 7-10 bus. days, since we ordered it first.
