I still have my original 128K M0001. I have the serial number and wondered if anyone can tell how valuable it is. I bought it the day after the Super Bowl Commercial in 1984.

If you've still got all the books, tapes, and other documentation with it PLUS a working machine its worth as much as $400 I would bet. Just the Mac alone is probably closer to $125.

Thanks, might make a good door stop. I'll check again in another 25 years.

If it's in good condition and has most accesorries and it has a low Serial number you could easily get 500+ for the Machine alone. Put it on ebay.
Or sell it to me :)

Any reason to do that to a collectable Mac?

Yeah, that was my thought too. A Mac plus, maybe - they're a dime a dozen. But a 512k?

Is there a model M0001?
I thought 128k Mac was model M1000 per my old paperwork from 9/84.
or, was the M1000 the education pricing sku, and M0001 the retail sku??

Gotta imagine that kind of thing is bad for the environment.

Ever see "Antiques Roadshow"?

If you have the receipt and paperwork - it makes it worth more...
