Hi all, I just moved to a place with limited cable hook-ups, and am wondering if anyone has had success with specific wireless cards on such an old machine. I don't know which one to get, and whether I should just suck it up and get time warner back to string wires all over the apartment. Is wireless vastly inferior to a wired connection on these machines?

Any PCI 802.11B/G/N card card using the Broadcom chipset will be recognized natively by OS X as Airport without any additional drivers. I got a cheap $20 TrendNET TEW-403PI card at my local Fry's and it works great -- but that was like 5 years ago.
