hey, is there any difference between these two besides the unlock feature? like is rc3 more stable/ or cause problems such as no wifi?

im only looking to jailbreak and not unlock.

Different versions work on different firmware versions. Depends on which firmware you are trying to JB.
 
the only difference i noticed is that the RC3 can jailbreak iphone 3g and the RC1 cant. i found out by trying it on my friend's 3g.
